The masonry church replaced an older wooden church that was mentioned in 1828. All of Voroblyk was one until the King of Poland gave part of it to a nobleman, thus the name Shljakhets'kyj, for the part he gave away and Korolivs'kyj for the part he retained. The parish in Vorobik Korolivs'kyj was established on September 2, 1608.
