The church was «Saint Demetrius the Great Martyr» [1790] [standing]
The masonry church was erected in 1790 after the wooden church burned. It was renovated in 1884 at the expense of Bishop S. Sembratovych. It was renovated agin in 1898, 1901 and 1930.
In 1581 it is mentioned that the village belonged to Count Stadnitski. Metropolitan Sylvester Sembratovych was born here on September 3, 1836
