Parish Data:

Church was «Saints Kosmas and Damian» built in 1842 [still standing]

The wooden church was erected in 1842 and was renoovated in 1913. It replaced an older wooden church dating to 1828. Formely in the parish a miraculous icon from IZBY was venerated. Church is now used by Poles.

In documents it is mentioned that the village existed in 1368. Cholera and famine struck in 1866 and again in 1873 and many villagers died.

In 1785 the village lands comprised 11.15 sq.km. There were 483 Greek Catholics 0 Roman Catholics and 5 Jews

The village was incorporated into the Lemko Apostolic Administration in 1934
